Tradition built the halls.
People built the legacy.
Founded by Frank Beaumont and Liliane Devereux in 1900, B&D began with an unusually progressive promise for its time: serious education should not belong to only one kind of student.
Today, old stone, stained glass and century-old rituals live beside contemporary laboratories, modern security and a fiercely competitive academic culture.

Every incoming student begins in the Basic Cycle before specialization. One shared academic foundation means future doctors, engineers, historians and lawyers can cross paths long before their majors pull them apart.

Foundational Hall, Applied Sciences, Humanities, Life Sciences and the prestigious Central Building shape the academic core.

Some degrees require a longer foundational period before students progress into their chosen field.

The university’s large residential complex sits beyond the Central Building, divided into male and female wings and expanded during the mid-2010s renovation.
Between lectures, students spill toward the lake, kiosks, courtyards and athletic grounds. The dorms are where acquaintances become friendships, rivalries become personal, and campus life stops feeling theoretical.
